Configuring your test — size, target and data

Choose the load size, confirm the target environment, and pick how test data is supplied.

Size

Pick how hard to push: Smoke (a quick 1-minute sanity check at low load), Load (a realistic sustained load), or Stress (heavier, to find limits). Each routes through the same queue and runner.

Target

Confirm the URL and classify it: Test, Staging or Production. Marking a target Production adds an ownership-consent step before dispatch — you confirm you own it or have permission to load-test it.

Test data

If your journey has form fields, choose Synthesise (we generate realistic single-use data) or Load (upload a CSV). The pre-flight panel blocks Run until the data question is answered.
