Two ways to record
Chrome Extension (recommended)
Install the Contexta Performance Recorder from the Chrome Web Store. Click the extension icon, hit Record, walk your site normally. Every page visit, form fill, and click is captured. Hit Stop when done.
Cloud VNC Recorder
No install needed. From the Recordings page, click New VNC recording, enter your URL, and tick the consent boxes. A cloud Chromium browser opens — you drive it via the VNC viewer in your browser.
What gets captured
- Steps — each page or navigation
- Requests — HTTP requests per step
- Data fields — form inputs your recording filled in
- Correlations — dynamic values (CSRF tokens, session IDs) that need extracting between steps
Once saved, your recording appears on the Recordings page. Click Test Recording to open it in the Test Builder.
