Getting started with Performance Studio
From a recording to your first load test — build, run, read the report.
# Getting started with Performance Studio
Performance Studio turns a recorded journey into a load test with full reporting.
## The flow
1. **Record** a journey (Chrome extension or cloud recorder) — or import a JMX,
HAR or Postman collection.
2. **Build** a test: set concurrent users, duration, and the data each virtual
user uses.
3. **Run** it — Studio provisions cloud load generators and drives your journey
under load.
4. **Read** the report: per-transaction response times, errors, pass/fail
against your NFRs, and a certificate.
Studio and Site Check share the same recorder and report engine — capture once,
use it either way.
